ALL ABOUT PARMA - IN ENGLISH!

Parma mia! is a blog for ex-pats and English-language speakers in Parma as well as for tourists who want to learn more. We've got lots of tips and tidbits to share: where to buy your foreign foods, favorite restaurants, what's on for kids during the weekends, local agricultural fairs, where you can find a babysitter or chiropractor and hints on how to make it through the bureaucratic maze that is Italy (see tabs below). This forum is for you: please share your ideas/events with us at parmamia@gmail.com or on FB at Parma Mia.

And remember to like Parma Mia on Facebook for weekly updates. Buon divertimento!

June in Parma, 2014

Welcome to our June addition! We will be on hiatus in July and August but are happy to post any individual events that you forward to us during that time. Also, don't forget to visit our facebook page "Parma Mia" for additional updates and last minute info! If you are not on FB and would like these events to be forwarded directly to your email, please let us know parmamia@gmail.com.

Please note that many places are closed during August. If you're staying in Parma, be sure to check pharmacy listings, store opening hours, museum times, etc. The pharmacy in V.le Dei Mille, 52/b, COMUNALE MILLE, should be open 24/7.  Check our health section for tips.

Take care and enjoy: Italy is at its finest during this season.
