In late November the Christmas Markets start in Trentino-Alto Adige, in particular the one in Merano. Lots of traffic but a super festive atmosphere. Driving up the A22, you can stop at the MART museum in Rovereto or the MUSE in Trento to add a cultural touch to your trip.
